Why China?

Acupuncture—an integrated therapeutic system combining needling (‘Zhen’) and moxibustion (‘Jiu’)—originated in China and boasts over 2,500 years of documented history. From the Huangdi Neijing (c. 475–221 BCE) to the Shiji and Zhenjiu Jiayijing, China’s medical classics laid the foundations for acupuncture theory and practice.
