  • Handle: Hwato needles feature a solid, well-balanced handle with appropriate weight, enhancing tactile feedback and stability for the practitioner.
  • Needle Tip: Each tip undergoes specialized processing to minimize the risk of breakage or adverse reactions. Hwato offers both awn-shaped and ultra-awn-shaped tips to meet various clinical requirements.
  • Needle Body: Manufactured using high-grade austenitic stainless steel, the needle body is precisely alloyed for optimal hardness and flexibility. The surface is polished to a smooth, burr-free finish to ensure excellent control and greater patient comfort.
  • Specifications: Diameters range from 0.12 mm to 0.80 mm, and lengths from 5 mm to 150 mm, with a comprehensive range to support different therapeutic requirements.

Shipping is free for orders over £50. For orders below this amount, a flat shipping fee of £4.95 applies. Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 with signature.
For large volume or wholesale orders, we may use DHL or other express couriers depending on the order size and destination.

  • Acupuncture needles: Due to hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on acupuncture needles.
  • We recommend trying our Sample Pack (£1.50 + VAT). Each pack contains 40 needles in a fixed mix of 2–8 different sizes, designed to help you easily compare different specifications. Each sample pack is limited to 1 per order.
  • Other products: Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, if the item is unopened and resaleable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. A 10% restocking fee applies (excluding shipping).

  • Needle Body: Stainless steel needle bodies are coated with cured silicone oil to improve insertion smoothness while maintaining a burr-free surface.
  • Needle Tip: Blunt pine-shaped tips often cause more pain on insertion and are rarely used by quality brands. Awn-shaped (lancet-style) tips offer moderate resistance and low discomfort, while ultra-awn-shaped tips are extremely fine and require minimal insertion pressure — but may cause stinging sensations if poorly manufactured.
